Japanter on the horizon

Marco Polo.

From September 2011 to summer 2012, I shall be exploring for myself what Polo called Zipangu. I have been offered a scholarship to spend the year in Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu at the Japan University of Economics. The year shall be dedicated to the study of the Japanese language: my current knowledge is zero. I hope you'll accompany me in my adventures, comment liberally, contribute freely and - at least - remember who I am so that I'll still have friends in Europe upon my return.

Spread the word, keep following and enjoy the Japanter!
